NCAA D-III 2x All American Ben Hoover Joins the Trojan Wrestling Camp Staff of Clinicians

I’m happy to announce that Ben Hoover has been able to commit to working at Trojan Wrestling Camp before he gets married this summer. Ben is one of my former wrestlers from my days as head coach of Maranatha Baptist Bible College Wrestling. In the 2007-08 season Ben took second in the NCAA D-3 National tournament and had a record of 36-2 for the season. Ben is a great student of the sport and is an excellent addition to our Trojan Wrestling Camp clinician line up. Our campers will enjoy getting to know Ben!

Hannibal, MO - The Hannibal-LaGrange College Wrestling program is pleased to have signed Bryce Alexander from Maryville, MO. Alexander will graduate from Maryville High School in May of 2010.

After transferring from Henderson High School in Kentucky and coming out of seemingly nowhere, Alexander surprised many Missouri wrestlers with his success on the mat as he represented Maryville High School. Alexander compiled impressive records of 42-1 during both his junior and senior seasons of competition at Maryville High School. Alexander will be the first ever 2 time Missouri State Champion to wrestle for HLG. His achievements on the mat speak for itself. He is a really, really good high school wrestler. Bryce knows college wrestling is a big step up, but we both believe he can come into our program and help make a difference right away” said HLG Head Wrestling Coach Scott Hawes. Alexander will be wrestling at 157 pounds next season for the Trojans.

Alexander plans on majoring in Business at HLG.
